Do you accept insurance?
Golden Sage Psychiatry is out-of-network (OON) with insurance companies. Depending on your OON benefits, your insurance may cover a portion of each session.
What is a super bill and how do I submit a claim for reimbursement?
If claiming OON benefits, you will be provided with an invoice (or "super bill") to submit to your insurance company. Contact your insurance company to determine how best to submit OON claims.
What if I need to cancel my appointment, or reschedule?
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty with at least 48-hours notice. Failure to provide such notice will incur a fee (cost of session missed). For emergencies, penalty fee may be waived at the provider's discretion.
How can I contact my provider in between sessions if I have a question or problem with medication?
You may contact your provider through our HIPAA-compliant electronic health system with messaging, Simple Practice, at no additional cost. Please allow 2 business days to have your correspondence returned.
I need paperwork completed by my psychiatrist for work/school/court, can you help with this?
It depends on each patient and their individual situation. Letters, forms, and paperwork may be completed or denied, at the provider's discretion.
